Sooji Ka Halwa

Namaskar doston,
Me hoon Sangeeta Agrawal aur mere blog par aapka bahut bahut swagat hai. Sooji ka halwa banane me bahut easy aur khaane me tasty hota hai. Yeh navaratron me ghar ghar me prasad ke roop me banaya
 jaata hai.




# Prep Time...5 minutes
# Roasting Time....45 minutes
# Cook Time....15 minutes
# Total Time....1 hour
# Serving....30 to 35

# INGREDIENTS
1. Sooji- 250 grams
2. Ghee-250 grams
3. Cheeni (sugar) 500 grams
4. Paani (water) 1 liter ( char guna )
5. Basanti colour...1|4 Tea spoon
5. Cut kiye huye kaju, pista, badam, mingi, chironji, kishmish, ghisa huya nariyal 

# METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Sabse pehle gas on karke bhaari base ki kadhai rakhenge. Ab isme suji ko dalkar 30 minutes ke liye suji ko dry roast karengey.
  • Pahle suji ko high flame par 3 ya 4 minute ke liye roast karna hai, uske baad slow medium gas par 25 minutes ke liye dry roast karengey.
  • Phir es dry roast suji me measured ghee daalenge,  lekin 1 tablespoon ghee rok denge jo ki hum halwa aadha banane ke baad dalenge. 
  • Ab slow medium gas par sooji ko lagatar chalate huye15 ya 20 minutes aur bhoonenge aur tab tak bhoonenge jab tak sooji halke brown rang ki naa ho jaaye aur achchi khushboo na aane lage..
  • . suji bhunne me 45 minutes lag jaayengey...Tabhi suji ka kud kud bhun payega..Aur ise se hi halwa swadisht banta hai.
  • Isi time dusri gas par ek bartan me paani aur cheeni aur rang milakar garam karenge, bus itna hi garam karna hai jitni ki cheeni ghul jaaye.
  • Beech beech me sooji lagatar bhunenge. Ab cheeni wala garam paani sooji wali kadhai me daal kar chalate huye pakayein.
  • Kishmish aur kuch dry fruits abhi mix karen halwa me.
  • Ab ek tablespoon ghee jo hamne bachaya tha ab daal denge...Acche swad aur texture ke liye.
  • Paani sookh jaaye toh samjh jaiye ki halwa taiyyar hai.
  • Ab isme saare dry fruits (kaju, pista, badam, mingi, chironji) aur kasa huya nariyal daal dijiye upar se.

# THINGS TO REMEMBER
1. Kum aanch par hi sooji ko roast karna hai.
2. Sooji me barabar ghee, doguna sugar, choguna paani. 
3. Ek chutki khaaney wala basanti rang sugar syrup me dal dijiye, halwai texture ke liye.
4-dry fruits ko katkar aur coconut powder dalkar serve kare.
