1. Paneer.....500 gram
2. Tomato....300 gram
3. Onion.....100 gram ( optional )
4. Butter....70 gram
5.Curd..50 gram
6. Milk..100 gram
7. Cashew nuts...12
8. Green cardamom...5
9.Bay leaf....2 (tej patta )
10. Sugar...1|2 tsp spoon
11.salt ....1 spoon or to taste
12. Red chili powder...1|2 tsp
13.Ginger...1 tbsp ( grated or grind )
14. Pinch of food colour or ratan jyot ( a herb )

Method of Making....
Preparation Steps...
# Dice paneer in squares and fry them deep or shallow.
# Make a paste of curd (yogurt ) and cashews grinding together.
# Make a paste of tomato and onion separately... Don't mix tomato and onion but grind them separately.
Procedure of Paneer Curry...
# Heat the butter in a wok or pan.After heating it, add cardamom, ginger and bay leaf, saute them for 30 seconds.
# Now add onion paste (optional ) saute it well for 5 minutes.
# Add tomato paste and saute it till it separates the pan.
# Add salt and red chili powder and pinch of red food colour.
# After that add the paste of cashew and yogurt and stir it continuously...For 5 minutes.
# Then add milk and mix well.Cook it for 15 minutes Lid on and stir it ..Avoiding from sticking in the bottom.
# Now add sugar and paneer and Cook it again for 5 minutes.
# As the gravy becomes thick and creamy with paneer ....Off the flame.
#Paneer Makhhani is ready. Garnish it with fresh coriander and cream as choice. Serve it with hot roti, puree and paratha.
Note...
# Always use fresh paneer for Paneer dishes....The result will be more soft and delicious.
# You can also add sesame seeds with cashews paste in the gravy for enhancing more sweetness.
