Kele ke Chilke (Banana Peel) ki Sabji

Hello friends,
Me hoon Sangeeta Agrawal aur mere blog par aapka bhaut bahut swagat hai doston. Jab koi sabji na ho tab hum jhatapat kele k Chilkon se sukhi (dry) sabji taiyyar kar sakte hain.

# INGREDIENTS

  1. 4 kele ke chilke (if size of bananas are small, take 6 banana skin)
  2. 1 teaspoon namak aur 1 lemon slice for boiling chilka (banana peel)
  3. 1 pinch Hing (asafoetida),1teaspoon jeera (cumin)
  4. 1 teaspoon namak, haldi, lal mirchi (red chili powder), amchur (raw mango powder), dhaniya powder, garam masala, saunf
  5. 1 tablespoon oil for frying sabji
# METHOD OF MAKING

  • Pehle chilkon ko acchi tarah dhokar chote tukdon (pieces) me cut kariye. Phir pressure cooker me ek glass pani, ek lemon slice aur namak daal kar 3 yaa 4 seeti (whistles) aane tak boil kijiye. 
  • Thanda hone par ek chalni (sieve) me palat (transfer) dijiye. Phir haathon (hands) se press karke chilkon ka extra pani nikal lijiye. Ab ek kadhai me oil daal kar hing aur jeera ko chatka kar haldi, dhaniya, saunf ko daal kar kele ke chilkon ko sim gas par fry kariye. 
  • Last me  red chili aur garam masala mila dijiye. Lijiye sabji taiyyar hai. Hara dhaniya se garnish kar serve kijiye.
# THINGS TO CONSIDER

  1. Chilkon ko cut karke turant (immediately) namak aur lemon slice wale paani me daal dijiye jisse yeh kaala  nhi honge.
  2. Achhe swaad ke liye heeng aur jeera thoda normal sabji se zyada daaliye.
