I am Sangeeta Agrawal. I welcome to all of you whole heartily on my blog. Today's recipe is Porridge (Daliya) Pudding that is super healthy and delicious. It is a perfect food in itself.
# INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup porridge (roasted)
- 6 cup water (6 guna)
- 2 and 1/2cup milk
- saffron
- 1/2 spoon green cardamom powder
- 2 spoon raisins (kishmish)
- 2 spoon finely chopped and roasted nuts (Cashew, almond, chironji etc.)
- 100 grams sugar
# METHOD OF PREPARATION
- First of all, cook the porridge in the water up to 1 whistle on high flame and 1whistle on the very sim flame. Porridge is cooked.
- Then put a pan and pour the milk and boil it on the low flame for 5 mins. When it gets thicking a little, pour daliya in the milk. Let it cook for a little. Now add sugar, saffron, raisins and dry fruits and mix well.
- Friends, healthy and yummy pudding is ready. Enjoy it by garnishing some dry fruits and saffron.
# THINGS TO CONSIDER
- You can cook porridge directly in the milk but it is very time taking.
- First cooking porridge in the water and then in the milk makes the pudding more soft and yummy.
- Add enough water while cooking porridge.
- You can make it without milk too, just add sugar to taste and enjoy it.
