Coconut ( Nariyal ) Chutney Recipe For Idli, Dosa And Uttapam

Coconuts are both delicious and nutritious.This is the one fruit that can be used to take care of all your needs.
Lots of luscious dishes are prepared with coconut.
# Today I am sharing the simple chutney recipe of coconut that is loved with idli, dosa and uttapam.
# Ingredients For Coconut Chutney..
1. Fresh or dry coconut.....1|2 grated
2. Fresh green chili....2
3. Coriander leaves....2 table spoon
4. Lemon juice ...1 table spoon
5. Roasted and split chana....1|2 Cup
6. Yogurt...2 table spoon ( optional )
7. Salt..1|2 Tea spoon
8. Black salt ..1|2 tea spoon or as taste
9. Water ...1 cup or as required
#  Ingredients For Tempering The Chutney....
1.Oil...1 table spoon
2. Mustard seeds...1 tea spoon
3. Curry leaves...8 to 10
4. Urad dal...1 tea spoon ( optional )
5. Whole red chili...1 (optional )
#  How to prepare coconut Chutney..
1. Grate the coconut and keep aside.
2. Then first grind the roasted and split gram ( bhune chana ) in the mixer jar.
Because sometimes it remains ungrounded with the moisture of water.
3. Now transfer all the ingredients of chutney with grated coconut, coriander leaves, salt, green chili and lemon along with water in the mixer jar.
4.  Blend it again to make a smooth paste.
Adjust the consistency of chutney as required.
5. Take out in a bowl.
6. Now for tempering the chutney....
Prepare the tadka..
Heat the oil and crackle mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. Pour this oil tadka into the chutney psste and mix well.
Coconut or nariyal chutney is ready to serve with south indian dishes like idli, dosa etc.
# Note...
1. You can use roasted pea nuts and roasted chana dal in place of roasted chana ( bhune chana ).
2. Desiccated coconut can be used in place of grated coconut.
The taste comes yum and very easy to make coconut chutney.
